This course aims to provide delegates with the skills necessary to safely fulfil the role of Crane Supervisor. Consisting of both class-room based learning and practical training, the objective of the course is to achieve a Construction Plant Competence Scheme Trained Operator Card (Red Card).

What level of experience do I need?
Delegates with some competency and experience with lifting operations are best suited to this course, due to the requirements specified in British Standard 7121 Safe Use of Cranes.
How can I achieve my Blue Card?
In order to achieve a Blue Card, an NVQ must be completed. This can be supplied through a site visit from one of Boss Training’s many NVQ assessors.
How do I renew my Blue Card?
If your logbook has been kept suitably up to date, then a simple touch-screen test is all that is needed. If not, an onsite assessment and/or practical test may be necessary.
What are the pre-requisites for this course?
Delegates must have a valid CSCS Health, Safety and Environment Supervisor test (the test must have been taken within the last two years to be considered credible). It is also recommended that delegates have a degree of prior experience with lifting equipment.
